I remember when someone (can't remember who) thought that Kashyk's shirt was body hair.

As for the Chakotay Sim having chemist with the Seven Sim...huh. I never really thought about C/7, so I have no idea...

My husband was comparing Janeway to Captain Hook, he didn't get far, and I said something like "Yeah, and the Doc is Mr. Smee" and I just took the spelling of Anakin's moms name for it.

Oh, and Seven likes her daughter Amelia.

So to catch up here..

1. Wonderful stories about Hepburn JRulez!

2. Bechdel test, first heard of that on this forum when some fanboy used it to bash whatever I was saying. Read up on it and went, OH AWESOME.

3. Crawdads, I have the Aus version in my front yard living in holes. Sometimes at my front door. Apparently they are disliked by gardeners as they make the ground clay-ey and porous but as I prefer critters to gardens I am happy to see them. Sometimes my cats eat them.

Here is a pic of their holes which show up in winter or after lots of rain:



4. JANEWAY IS TEH GODDESS. I don't what the sexiest ep is, I find her sexy in everything. Yah Macrocosm, big guns.. woot. The Killing Game, wonderful outfits. Year of Hell.. yum. But all the other eps as well, she is just always very very present in every scene she's in.

I had to look that up as well, and OMG! I had NO IDEA that trope was named for Alison Bechdel.

Besides her comic Dykes to Watch Out For, I highly highly HIGHLY recommend her graphic novel Fun Home.

And look at that ickle little crawdad hole! Those suckers are cute.
