How High Would You Rank Alixus from Paradise

Since I found her so annoying and disgusting that I was sad that she didn't was killed off in the episode........
.....i have to give her a 10! Great villain as such.

So was also the Female Shapeshifter. I had the same feelings about her.

There was an episode of THE TWILIGHT ZONE" (original) that dealt with exactly that. He was a criminal, died, and thought he was in heaven because he had women and endless money. He got bored pretty quickly.

The twist was he was in hell.

I thought you were going to mention the ep where the townpeople are getting advice on what food is safe to eat from an "old man in the cave". Later they find it's a computer, so they stop listening. They all die.

I initially thought Alixus was kind of like "Kai Winn Lite". But though I see similarities in how they carry themselves, Winn was a hypocrite. Alixus was a true believing fanatic.

Which makes her more dangerous. Kira pointed out at the end of "COVENANT" that Dukat is more dangerous than ever because he was a believer.

More dangerous, perhaps, yes. I'm not sure whether it makes a person worse (as a person).

If I had to choose between two Nazis that both did horrible things, and it turned out one did it because he truly believed in the Nazi ideology (Aryan superiority, keeping the people 'pure', elimination or even extermination of undesirables, and all that), and the other didn't even really care about the ideology and/or such ideas, but just saw career opportunities by emulating being a fanatical Nazi, and simply didn't care about what happened to the 'targeted' undesirables, I'm not sure which one I'd judge as the worse person.

Who is more morally corrupt... you're right, that's a question of philosophy. Is it more evil to legitimately buy into an evil philosophy, or to use it to your own selfishly evil end?

Regardless, that scene where they retrieved that one guy, Steven I think it was, out of the hot box... urghhh. He was acting like he was grateful she had almost killed him. That's the power an ultra charismatic and dangerously deluded person can have.
