Hands down, weekly release. There's time to let you experience the first impression, absorb it on a second viewing, and discuss it here!
Weekly release, with the first this previous Friday and going backward to the beginning of Season 2.
I voted for box set. People might complain less when installments are really just chapters in a larger story.

I'd love it all dropped at once. Then I'd absorb it, 2 or 3 episodes a day.

For comedies and lighter fare I prefer all episodes to be dropped at once, so I can watch several in a row. However, with a heavy show like Discovery, I don't mind it being released only once a week. I doubt I would watch more frequently than that anyway, because each episode gives a lot to think about and can sometimes be intense.
Since they want to keep subscribers for a decent length of time, there's no way they'll give the "binge" option. Speaking for myself, I would binge and bolt if I could.
While I have binge watched stuff before and will very likely do so again, I've definitely noticed how "hit it and quit it" it is. As soon a something is done you're looking for the next shiny thing to binge.
Also, I think that it provides less opportunity to talk about it with others. Like, I'm sure that now between seasons Discovery themed forums here and on reddit are going to settle down and go quieter since there's only so much to discuss when there's nothing new happening. And I feel that this happens all the quicker when shows are put out all at once. There's a few days, maybe weeks of people talking about it fervently, and then all but a small core quickly move on. If that makes sense.

Honestly, weekly releases help me get through the week by giving me something to look forward to.
Weekly. Though serialized, each episode of Discovery has its own story. The Picard Series might be different. It sounds like the first season will basically be a 10-parter. I would probably prefer watching that in one go, on a day off.
I absolutely love being able to binge tv, and I will sometimes wait for things to finish. However, I also like the weekly speculation involved on shows that I like more than average. Disco definitely fits that description, so I voted weekly in this case.
