Not so good.
Have had several close family members in an out of the hospital; I am facing the reality that my doggie of 14 and some years is going to have to be put down in the very near future; and, I am trying my very hardest to ward-off the impending doom of my very first publishing deadline.
On top of all that, we've been having a record breaking heatwave with highs in the 100s and lows in the 90s, and unfortunately, no one in Albuquerque has air conditioning. So I haven't been sleeping either.
The little tidbit about my car being broken into (With all the windows smashed in and everything stolen.) I mentioned the other day is just the proverbial icing on the cake.
Somehow in the midst of it all, I've turned into a complete asshole. I seem to be pissing everyone off.
So all I can do is apologize.
...And deal, bucker up kiddo, get beck on the horse, and all that other nonsense.

I hope your relatives are doing okay. I certainly understand how you feel about your dog; I've lost quite a few beloved Pets over the years and it never gets any easier. And the car thing just sucks.
