Star Trek returned for 6 movies. Next Gen lasted 7 seasons plus 4 movies. DS9 & VOY both lasted 7 seasons and got conclusive endings. Enterprise had a good 4-year-run, but the finale just left too many questions and a bad taste in the mouth. TNG has gotten a sequel of sorts in the form of Picard. Why not do something similar to Enterprise? Imagine Admiral Archer, some 10 years after the Federation's founding, reassembled the old Enterprise bridge crew for a special mission. We could learn that Trip faked his death, which was done in the novels, I think, to join Section 31 or something. Think there'd be an audience? With the Enterprise being a museum, imagine the crew getting a rundown NX-class ship or perhaps a newer ship. Depends on the story.
