Hoshi versus T'Pol

I think the most ridiculous thing about T'Pol is that she wouldn't touch food with her hands.

I actually anticipated her saying that, then she did.

Because I know people like that. They believe that no matter how much you wash your hands, we’re all crawling with microbes that aren’t us.

And it’s true. Even inside us. But most are benign.

Even so, if any of those people ever saw a professional kitchen, they would probably eat nothing at any restaurant.

T’Pol got a salad. Did she eat any?

And were the meals replicated? Missed that.

Some microbes evolved with us and are probably even pretty necessary for our own health.

I don’t think think replicator use was widespread by then. They talked about chef cataloging the pantry for the galley so they were bringing/storing some foodstuffs with them. When they boarded the Klingon ship that was was falling into a planet’s atmosphere they were unsurprised to find the Klingons kept a larder/pantry. They were surprised to find they kept love animals for earning though.

Hoshi is a healthier, more stable person.

T'Pol is more interesting.

Hoshi's that's friend you have forever even though they are kinda quiet and dull. T'Pol is that friend you ADORED back in the day and now you are actively ghosting them and hope you never have to hang out with again.

Whenever I see these T'Pol versus Hoshi threads I wonder if the right question is being posed. I think about it and can't really decide, and then I come to the realization that the correct question is, "Which one of them would pick me?". I find it hard to imagine any strait man or lesbian woman not falling head over heals for either, if suddenly one of them was showing interest.

... and then I realize that neither would pick me and I go back to what I was doing.
