I felt the same way about the prequels. Published media had laid a groundwork on what the prequels could have been like, only to have that groundwork ignored.

Typo. Meant the sequels. Honestly, the Sequels would have been better if Lucas had done them shortly after ROTJ rather than the prequels.
But, yeah, Lucas largely ignored almost all published material.
Stupidest invention of a character in Star Wars in my opinion.

I love how they've gone to a lot of effort to paint her red, light the shot, do the light sabre etc... then just absent-mindedly doodled on the tattoos with a sharpie while blindfolded.
My favourite part is that they’ve gone to so much trouble and yet apparently do not imagine the character enjoying the costume choice.
Mileage will vary. It's the same reason why I roll my eyes at how Aayla Secura dresses as a Jedi Master in contrast to every other Jedi master.

Yeah, not great. I just think with Grevious it's everything from his name to his place in the movies that is totally ridiculous, which in fairness seems to be one reason why prequels fans like him so much. He kinda sums up everything good and bad about those movies.
I also like those memes about him adding more lightsabers to his collection.
That image is clearly (very bad) fan art. It's only very roughly what the character actually looks like.
That character is awful; I hated the Legacy series of comics for just that reason. Yeah, a bit petty and superficial but that's how I feel.
Most SW comic books are awful, especially from that era. "Cade Skywalker??"
But I bought the Darth Talon action figure simply because she's sexy and nearly naked and my other action figures are glad I did!
