Has anybody gotten this game yet? If you don't know what it is it is basically a game about a North Korean Invasion of the US. It is okay. Interesting story and it does have some chilling scenes such as the one where a mom and dad are executed in front of their child and you hear the heart rendering cries of the child.

The graphics are okay, but nothing great. There is one glitch that is driving me crazy, though. When you are following an AI character and you both come upon a obstacle, only the AI character can clear the obstacle (open a door, move a shelf out the way), but if you aren't standing in the right spot, the AI guy just stands there looking and doing nothing so I am moving around trying to get this guy to move/open the object.

Overall, it is a fun game, especially when it comes to controlling the Goliath. Anybody else get this game?

Actually, it's not a North Korean invasion. Korea is united by Kim Jong-Il's son, Kim Jong-Un, and after America falls apart through financial and social collapse, the new United Korea launches an invasion. It's written by the guy who wrote and directed the 80's film Red Dawn, John Milius.

Anyway, the game comes out over here on Friday, so I'll probably pick it up then. I was gonna get Motorstorm Apocalypse this weekend, but now it's been delayed indefinitely I'll give this a go instead.

Servo it is a pretty good game, but not on the same level as Black Ops or Modern Warfare.

I'm hearing mixed reports about it. Some are saying the SP campaign isn't that great, but the MP aspect is fantastic. To be honest, between Black Ops and Killzone 3, I'm not really looking to get into another FPS online, so the SP campaign is the biggest draw for me. I'll probably still get it and trade it in towards Motorstorm when Sony lets the retailers start selling it.

Not me! I love them. I just wish they put more effort into having longer single player missions. I am not an online multiplayer type of guy.

Me too. I don't do online and wish more effort was put into the campaigns. All the military FPS are now focusing in on multiplayer to a larger extent and I sometimes feel cheated as a result.

To be fair I guess FPS can't be 20-30 hour games because then they'd just get boring but 5 hours does feel really short when the average shooter is 8-10.

I read that this game got poor reviews and that THQ suffered a loss financially, like a 20% drop in stock price, but I'm not sure about the accuracy of that. Hopefully their latest red faction installment will do much better.

Apparently stock prices dropped BECAUSE of the poor reviews. Like Medal of Honor though, the sales of the game were pretty good so they should recover quickly.

I play games more for the campaign than for multiplayer as well. I feel short changed when they throw on a short single player mode as an afterthought. It used to be that the multiplayer aspect of a game was the bonus. Nowadays, it's practically expected.

Black Ops and Killzone 3 both had good campaigns, perhaps a tad short, but enjoyable. The new Medal Of Honor had a great, realistic campaign, IMO, but it was too short.

I played a little bit of it at PAX East and it seemed cool, but I just don't have it in my budget right now. Hopefully I can pick it up down the road and give it a go, because I liked what I saw.

On a related note, apparently the new "Red Dawn" remake is changing the invading force from China to Korea.

It is a very SHORT game.

I beat the game on normal, and according to Steam I've been playing it for 3.9 hours. I died and had to redo a couple of sections several times.

I watched some campaign walkthrough footage on youtube and it actually looks quite good. Very nice graphics and gameplay is obviously HEAVILY inspired by COD. I might buy it but I think I'm going to wait until it is $20. Too expensive right now for such a short campaign.

S'alright. Not brilliant, not terrible. Plays like a run-of-the-mill CoD, even down to the controls.

Sadly the MP plays like BFBC2, which for me, is an instant turn-off.

Luckily I can still trade it in for a few pennies more than I actually paid for it in the first place!

I don't like multiplayer so I wouldnt have cared about this code. I got the code since I purchased the game brand new and never used it. I wonder if I can sell it on ebay?
