Holy S*** Moments in DS9?

On a smaller scale, what about seeing Quark hiss at people when he gets mad? Like in Dax, or that ep with the Scyreens- the later made me jump a bit- can you imagine being bitten by those terrible teeth?

My holy shit moments:

Entire episode of In the Pale Moonlight.
The Breen attack on Earth.
Rom becoming Nagus.
Death of Jadzia.
Winn Adami accepting Dukat and killing her ranjen.

I thought killing off Opaka was an early one. She seemed like she would be an important part then bam dead.

In a way... I don't think I've mentioned this... what about when Kira gets beaten up by that chick in "Dax" but still manages to beat up a Klingon later? What was up with that? I was baffled...

Yeah, I know what you mean. Hey, God knows I love Nana Visitor and I love Kira Nerys, but it seems like her level of physical strength and fighting skills are entirely dependent upon the needs of the plot sometimes!

Although to be honest, I have no problem with her beating the crap out of Damar in Behind The Lines. Methinks Damar loved his kanar just a little too much back then, so it's entirely plausible that his fighting skills weren't exactly up to snuff with Kira's! :D

I think you're right... seems like they take that too far sometimes.

LOL! That was great, he had it coming. Whether his conscience bothered him or not- he still acted like a jerk... he had to have known what would really happen to Cardassia under the Dominion. He was asking for it when he arrested her later too- good thing she decided not to... for him!
