Holy S*** Moments in DS9?

Pretty much the end of every single season from 2 to 6 qualifies as a "holy s***!!" moment!

Think about it:

Season 2 (The Jem'Hadar): "Holy s***!! They went kamikaze on a Galaxy-class Federation ship!"

Season 3 (The Adversary): "Holy s***!! Changeling infiltrators are everywhere!"

Season 4 (Broken Link): "Double holy s***!! Odo's been transformed into a 'solid' and it looks like Klingon Chancellor Gowron is a Changeling"

Season 5 (Call To Arms): "Holy s***!! We've got to evacuate the station and it looks like the Federation's actually going to war with the Dominion!"

Season 6 (Tears Of The Prophets): "Holy s***!! Dukat killed Jadzia! The orbs have gone dark! Bajor's been cut off from the Prophets! And now it looks like Captain Sisko's going home and may or may not be coming back!"

Ira & Co. just seemed to have an effortless knack for upping the ante at the end of every season! :D

I too had a lot, lol... but was anyone else surprised when Rom when to deactivate the deflector, and then Kira goes to the promenade... and Odo isn't there, never ran the sensor sweep... I thought he'd be more mature and loyal than that... :O

^ And later on when Kira is marching down the corridor to Odo's quarters and then slams the buzzer on the door. I was like "Oh shit! She is pissed right off!"

LOL Yeah... was she mad!! You could hear the panel sizzling, and the chime sounded wrong... he's some fortunate she didn't take a swing at him...

Or... what about in "Broken Link" where Bashir seems to forget the Great Link is not the Great Lake and almost throws a stone in it... It was funny... but I can just see a sniper picking him off for it...

Oh yeah he would have been dead right there. Though it could have been fun if the stone was a Founder, Bashir throws it, Founder changes to humand and just looks at Bashir.

Or when they're done they say, Oh, just for that- Odo now has rocks for feet... thanks, Bashir... :O

I think it would've been great if he threw in the rock, but it turned into a bird and flew off before it hit the surface. That would've been surreal.

My moment was probably when those torpedoes smashed into the Defiant and blew her to hell.

Pretty much the last 10 minutes of In Purgatory's Shadow, especially when we found out about Tain and Garek's true relationship.

That was a wonderfully melodramatic moment. I think it's one of the best "reveals" in any of the Treks. Finding out that the Doctor was genetically engineered. Though, it would have been better had they thought of it from the beginning (or a season in) and had dropped little clues. I'm sure it was an idea that came about more than halfway through, but it was still a pretty cool thing. I also loved the story arc with Section 31.

My "Oh Sh*t" moment never occurred... they should have gone ahead and let Morn get the very last word(s). But the question is, who would he have sounded like? One of the Simpsons? Daffy Duck? The Green Martian? William Shatner? The possiblities are endless!

The problem with that part was that I had a feeling that was going to happen, if not before, then definitely by IPS.

The moment in Valiant when the plan didn't come together.

Actually it was more of a "Holy Shit! Get the fuck out of there!!" moment....

... natural selection at work...
I kid... but those punk, smarmy kids bugged me... their failure was inevitable... they were just too cocky... I mean, over confident....

Tho I must admit for a second, a second- I thought they'd win, given all the fire- I figured if anything had that much of something, and lost it... it would at least be disabled.... maybe they were faking it.

When the Defiant was destroyed in season seven. I was pissed. Then introducing a "new" Defiant named Sao Paulo and renaming it the Defiant (cheap move)

Also when Kira and Odo are chasing that dude on a planetoid and Kira gets caught inside that rock thing which turns out to be the Female Founder
(Having her name stay out of the opening credits helped too!)

"Trials and Tribble-ations." Nothing like it had been done before, and nothing like it has been done since.

Worf snapping Weyoun's neck...definitely not your average Star Trek moment! I actually rewound the tape at that moment; I really wasn't expecting that.

It was unexpectedly funny as well. Especially later when Damar encouraged Weyoun 8 to go talk to Worf again. :rommie:
