Just introducing myself. Im REB, and here are a few of my CGI models.
I use WINGS 3D for my modeling..... Rendered in Poser which I also use.
Not the best render engine, but it is as they say just a tool to achieve an end at the end of the day.

Wow! . . . Well, first things, first, right? So, anyway: Welcome to the forum, REB!

That is some SERIOUSLY awesome stuff you got there, man! I especially love the pooltable. Most of the ST interior stuff I see fits more with TNG or the U.S.S. Voyager, but this one is refreshingly different. As white as it is, it might fi in well aboard the U.S.S. Prometheus from VOY's "Message in a Bottle". Please, don't hesitate to show us more.

Very nice, REB; I think I just saw your pool table on ShareCG the other night? You're right - Poser's FireFly renderer isn't the best, but it's still pretty capable, and now that P8 is out, they've greatly improved its lighting and rendering engines. (Yeah, I'm another crazed Poser user ).

Anyway the console is cool I could see that as some portable piece that can be placed wherever you need a worksation.

Well I was posting that at 6:30 in the morning, that was as violent as I get! Dont worry, glad I (yay) inspired someone!

Btw now that I recall, I think I have seen it earlier on SCN.

Yes however all those years ago I never got around to completing it. And was not happy with the lower part or the blocky edge by the lower LCARS. The lower part seemed more like a trip hazzard. So after RL issues (Redundancy etc etc) got in the way I had to shelve 3D for a time. Now I am back in stable employment, and a new PC later I decided to resurect it or should I say scrap it and start anew, and at the same time begin some new work (Hence the mini console). Here is the original pooltable inspired by yourself I did back then.

Borgman it was not modeled for any particular class, Clawhammers design was such a nice design and an unusual shape differing from the standard pooltable usually seen. So I tried to see if I could do a simular one.
