Hey, I never noticed that before....

And in "The Apple," the landing party beams down in two groups. An initial party of six and a second party of three, McCoy and two security guards.

This seems consistent. If the Enterprise limits their transporter beam out to the number of pads in the transporter room then they would only beam down 6 at a time. However, the Enterprise seems to be okay to beam up from the ground more than 6 people at a time. Once back at the ship, they probably would limit the rematerialization to one person per pad (max 6 at once) and hold the extras until it is their turn ala "Day of the Dove".

Yes. That makes perfect sense to me.

I haven’t read through all 230 pages of posts, so this may have been mentioned already, but recently I was watching “Journey to Babel,” and noticed that the camera caught the actors’ marks (masking tape, it looks like) on the carpet of the reception room where McCoy is asking Sarek about Vulcan physiology. Just keep watching as the scene progresses.

Just watched Return to Tomorrow. In the final scene after Sargon/Thalassa in the bodies of Kirk/Mulhall have their final embrace and kiss, Chapel comments that "It was beautiful." On the surface it appears to be a reference to S/T, but she appears to sneak a look at Spock. Of course, Chapel and Spock's minds had just coexisted in Chapel...
