Hey, I never noticed that before....

I believe that "The Man Trap" and "Where No Man Has Gone Before" are the only two episodes that use the term "dispensary," and in "Where No Man Has Gone Before" Dr. Piper seems to be referring to the medical center of the Delta Vega mining outpost.

Spock calls it Dispensary in "The Naked Time" when he's trying to get them on the intercom.

I don't recall the context. But elsewhere in the episode, sickbay is sickbay, and additionally there's the biopsy lab. "DIspensary" might be an additional facility - perhaps Spock wanted an aspirin? Or some sedatives, just in case.

OK what about that episode of Trek where the Enterprise was shrunk down and plopped onto a table. Never mind it somehow didn't tip over, but just because it's small that's one hell of a strong table wouldn't its mass still weigh the same?

Neutronium table?

OMG imagine the fun had Q shrunk the Enterprise to fit on a table with a teeny tiny Picard on the Bridge, or Voyager.

Q did shrink Voyager into a Christmas ornament.

The Man Trap: I never noticed Spock's head wound and bandage at the end before. Also, I never really wondered before why McCoy's quarters weren't part of the ship-wide security search.

Good call. Honestly, the total lack of security on the Enterprise is one of the biggest recurring flaws in Star Trek. They could have solved most of it through the addition of a line or two of dialogue in each episode where it really shows up. (City on the Edge of Forever, notably.)
