Hey, I never noticed that before....

'Mark of Gideon' ....maybe it's just me, but the costumes that the people of Gideon are wearing kind of/sort of look like giant, multicolored condoms.:ack:

If I'm not mistaken, Irwin Allen re-used some of the same props, rubber aliens/monsters, costumes and set pieces in Lost in Space, Time Tunnel, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Time Tunnel, et. al.

You are not mistaken. He did all that and more......

Some of his props even showed up in movies that had nothing to do with space or science fiction, such as The Towering Inferno, When Time Ran Out, and others.

I just get amused when I see an alien ship and an Earth console or tape drive.

I crack up whenever I hear this anecdote about Irwin. During the filming of a Lost in Space episode his production manager told him that an alien space ship was going to cost $5,000. To which Irwin responded, "5,000 dollars!!! Forget it!! Make him walk!!!"

At the end of "The Doomsday Machine," the row of buttons that Kirk uses to set the timer to blow up the Constellation have a sort of raised crosshatched pattern on them -- it almost looks like a bit of cloth has been glued there. I don't EVER remember noticing that before. :)
I'll bet @GSchnitzer could tell us more about those toggles. Hint, hint. :)

Yeah. But it looks like ridges in the plastic to keep your finger from slipping. It's a fine detail I never noticed before:

"The Changling".....right before Kirk and Spock rush to the Sickbay, there is a shot of Bill Blackburn climbing up a ladder from a lower deck. He wears the gold/green command tunic. Soon after this Kirk and Spock are coming down a corridor. They pass Eddie Paskey and Bill Blackburn, who is now wearing a blue tunic.

It's funny that he didn't remember what tunic he was supposed to wear, the actor I mean.

Yes, the rocker switches throughout TOS have small ridges on their faces, which makes them ever-so-slightly difficult to paint the proper Trek colors. (Also note that only the faces are painted; the sides of the rocker switches which you can see when one gets thrown are not painted.

The original brand vintage rocker switches with the ridges are notoriously hard to come by nowadays. People often simply fabricate their own.

Here's a nice set currently on ebay:
