Hey, I never noticed that before....

Chekov's boots are smooth leather while the rest of the cast have the krinkled/wrinkled type. Must be because he was a new recruit to the Federation.

In the "Cloud Minders" the African-American sentinel who observes Vanna being tortured looks suspiciously like the red shirt security guard who helps take Chekov to sick bay after he freaks out in "The Tholian Web".

It seems you have an eye for those things.

The document calls Spock "Half-Vulcan Science Officer Spock" but doesn't call Pike "Fully Human Captain Christopher Pike." Double standard.

It also says "no Human should ever visit it again." Does that mean that Spock and Pike would support a non-Starfleet vessel with no Humans aboard going there?
This folio (or one like it) was repurposed as Ambassador Fox's er.. well, some kind of official looking document cover, in A Taste of Armageddon. Someone printed his name on the cover.

In "All Our Yesterdays" Atoz was sitting on a stone bench but when he brings Kirk over to watch the tape there's a leather chair cushion on it.

Later when he's in jail and he scams the jailor to escape, they spill carrots and potatoes all over the bars.

Incredible what you see after 50 years

I was looking through an old thread I posted here and apparently never read the last post from Ian Keldon, in response to my statement that the refit Enterprise didn't have main viewer blinkies:

Not quite true. We don't see the Grissom's screen, so we don't know what it might or might not have shown. The refit E had them in the first two movies. In TMP, you can see them when Kirk orders a tactical display on screen of their approach to V'Ger at the 0:58:36 mark, In "Khan", you can see them as Kirk comes onto the Bridge just before Enterprise launches at the 0:29:50 mark, though oddly they don't show up in other Enterprise or Reliant viewscreen shots.

I just went and checked those scenes he mentioned and I'll be darned, there are indeed lights flashing at the bottom of the screen in those shots. I either never noticed them before, or never recognized them as being the actual viewer blinkies since they are just brief on-screen effects, not a permanent separate panel.

At the end of "The Doomsday Machine," the row of buttons that Kirk uses to set the timer to blow up the Constellation have a sort of raised crosshatched pattern on them -- it almost looks like a bit of cloth has been glued there. I don't EVER remember noticing that before. :)
