And those circles lit up during transport.
Different transporter room?
Obsession : outside his quarters there's a sign next to the door :
GARROVICK
ENSIGN
Also some details on the anti-grav unit I just noticed :
ANTI-GRAV 57,000 g KG
And on Kirk's red device attached to the anti-grav there are some markings :
ki £
tg 64
Gamesters : in the rough beamdown at the start where Kirk is on his back, the Captain snaps the grille almost off his communicator. It's replaced by the next closeup where he calls the ship.
Paradise Syndrome :
Kirk's sideburns seem to alternate between starfleet pointy and rectangular all through the show.
Kirk was supposed to have been living with the Indian people for eight months or more so his hair being longer would have occurred especially in a sun drenched forest location!

Nope! Zac's right! It will take The Enterprise some 59 days to reach the planet and that the asteroid will be right behind them all the way! 59 days is all but eight weeks which is virtually two months!

If the Enterprise can manage even one tenth impulse she can easily outrace the asteroid. Natural objects in space don't travel very fast (astronomically speaking) and one tenth of light is pretty damned fast in comparison.Nope! Zac's right! The ship can only go at the speed of plot.I'm not disputing the amount of time passage, but the fact the ship can only just stay ahead of the asteroid. If it needed warp speed to get out to the asteroid then that sucker is really a long ways off.
