I wonder how much McKay will piss off Rush...it shouldn't take that long for some friction between them to happen.

I don't think they would have too many problems, mostly because they both have little tolerance for idiots and such, but I would imagine Rush would be a bit resentful of McKay.

People who have similar personality types don't always get along with each other. I think if they got in the same room with each other they just might clash especially with their egos as big as they are. They might thin the other isn't as smart as they are.

They ought to have Rodney switch bodies with her:

Jack from seasons 1-6: Clown-like but knew when to be serious, and usually was, for the most part.

Jack from seasons 7-10: An unfunny, predictable walking sarcastic joke, who you could never take seriously, and was in turn hardly ever serious on the show.

The Jack on SGU thankfully ditched his clown-ish behaviour when SG-1 the series got mostly terrible, but it feels like they've gone a tad too far.

The Season 7-10 Jack wouldn't fit on SGU. It's not realistic. That's why they had to change him.

Like you said, maybe they went a *little* too far.
