Average. I am really digging Sylar. His scene chewing is really great! I also am liking Peter a lot better now. He is becoming less whiny and more like a leader. I also like that they have a group of Heroes together fighting for a common goal, none of that everyone is doing their own thing for the half the season schtick.

The rest was fairly mediocre.

Well I liked the episode even if Daphne's death was horribly done. What wasted potential.

One missed opertunity is that Ando could have supercharged Daphne to go back in time to stop the kidnaping before it took place. Also since the Daphne/Ando time travel option is out i do wonder how Hiro can get his powers back. My thought was if Daphne/Ando could bring Hiro back in time perhaps he could have got his powers back from his former self or something.

Yeah I was thinking maybe Ando could've supercharged Daphne enough to speed away with the whole group of them at the very least.

So you're not going to be up for that new power Peter's going to pick up -- the ability to see time travelers coming from the future? :p

I still can't believe they gave Ando the ability to enhance other heroes' powers. Sure, it's great for them, but talk about a morale killer for Ando.

Hopefully he'll discover a more practical use for his power.

Sylar's story was good, the rest was blah. Too bad, I had high hopes after seeing Mark Verheiden wrote it (exec producer and writer for nuBSG)

Since he can zap people, maybe he can turn it into an offensive power (as long as it's against powerless people). Sort of like how in the Iron Man movie he turned his flight stabilizer into a weapon.

Well if Ando supercharges people with powers what would happen if he touched someone without powers? Is it possible he might have the ability to give regular people powers? That could be one way to give Hiro his ability back.

And what would happen if he supercharged Peter? Would Peter be able to hold onto more than one power?

^I'm guessing that was because Ando had just discovered his powers, and hadn't had any time to start experimenting with them...

However, most everyone on the show seems to be content in not testing their powers/abilities out in an attempt to get better at using them. They just either are good or they're not with them as the need arises.

Heroes has become the prime example of a great premise left unfilled by unimaginative writers with no particular sense of direction in regards to logic and/or plot.

The episode was mostly lame. Except for Sylar becoming a Sith with his own apprentice.

This show would be better if instead of chapters, it was broken into "books." Each season, all new characters with a closed story arc. That is why the first season was so great and tight. Now they are just trying to squeeze the last drops from an empty well. I'm looking at you Claire!

I'm sorry, but that would've been some really bad writing. Time travel does virtually nothing to change the course of events, even in Hiro's actions traveling to the future and the past. In most cases, regardless of what they're hoping to accomplish or prevent from happening, things still turn out the same.

Daphne's death (if she really is dead) could've been handled better.

That was the original idea. Kring wasn't counting on the original characters becoming so popular. He must not have realized how clingy sci-fi fans can get.

Three posibilities;

1: He would supercharge the one ability Peter is curently mimicking.

2: Peter might gain the ability to switch abilities to those he has previously mimicked, but retain only one at a time.

3: Peter might regain all abilities he has mimicked at the same time and Nuke everything within 10 miles.

It is interesting to wonder what Ando's power would do to other heroes.

Claire: Most likely Invulnerability as her enhanced healing power would not allow her to become hurt at all.

Hiro: Extra-dimensional travel, he could go visit the X-men and the Justice League.

Sylar: He might gain new powers just by looking at people, and then crack their skulls open for old times sake

I have to say that I did like seeing the heroes be a bit more creative with their powers this time. Matt taking control of the soldier to take down the others, Claire using her body as a shield for the others so they could get away, that sort of thing.
