Can someone tell me how the scene with Hiro and his mother ended? I had to step out of the room. He'd just told her that his memories had been stolen.

Wow how did Arthur go back in time without Hiro's powers in the first place? Or did I miss something?

she healed him when he told her he'd lost his memory and was stuck being a ten-year-old. then he asked her for the catalyst and she gave it to him. in the process, she died. it was very emotional. one of Heroes' best scenes, IMO.

He had Peter's powers, remember? Which include Hiro's.

A better question is how the hell he knew where to go. Damn Omnipotent Arthur!

So now that he's magic'd up that vat of kool-aid, does the party start in the next episode?

A powerless Hiro is a really brutal place to take that character- -his whole identity is wrapped in his powers- -so on that level, I appreciate it. On another hand, I wont be any damn fun, so I hope Hiro gets his powers back soon...

What i dont get is how did Arthur get the ability to absorb peoples powers, we saw in the flash back episode that he had a 'power of will' but saw no indication he would just take peoples power, otherwise why wouldn't already have alot of power a year ago.

Thanks! I'll have to watch it again when the episode goes online.

I'm holding onto the theory that this means that Arthur's power suck is temporary- -just long term.

In other words, he took Maury's power back in the 70s. Used it up until the 80s. By the 90s/2000s, Maury had 'regrown' his ability.

well if Arthur is dead and Peter powerless who will go back in time to save Hiro?

Yeah, that was a great episode. If only the whole season had been this good. Sylar was excellent tonight.

Hopefully next week's mid-season finale is at least as good as this episode was.

That was the best episode in a long time. Peter was an idiot waiting so long to shoot daddy. The Haitian was begging him, but he just stood there. If Sylar hadn't been feeling benevolent, Peter would be dead.

The marine was Kyle from "The 4400."

does Sylar have brotherly feelings for Peter? he saved him from dying from the fall the last time too.

Well now i guess Sylar will go after Angela now since she started the lie.

The freakin' ending got cut off again... what was the final scene? Also, was there a preview for next week?

Damn it, NBC, get your shit together!
