Perhaps he just didn't want to listen in on them?
As for the episode, I'd have to say above average. I really enjoyed everything about this episode, it had a lot of great moments for each character, and everyone's storylines got at least some development. I'm really curious to see how Maury Parkman got out of the dream Matt trapped him in. As for him wanting Matt, I'm thinking that it was probably just because he wanted to get revenge, not necessarily because he wanted his power. I'm also curious to see what exactly it is that Arthur Patrellis is up, because I have a feeling it's probably something big if he needs this many people with powers. I'm wondering if perhaps he's gonna go after Angela and the Company, because so far all or most of the people he's (well Maury or whatever) has gone after so far have all been people who have worked against the company.
Knox & Daphne: Level 5
Maury: Attacked the Company
Adam: Killed Kaito, and Victoria Pratt
Matt: tried to take down the Company with Noah, and Mohinder
I actually kinda the Claire storyline this time. Although that was more because of the other people involved in it than Claire herself. I'm definitely curious to see if this will have anykind of a lasting effect on her relationship with her father, because she certainly didn't seem happy with him when the episode ended. The vortex guy was cool too.
The Nathan/Tracy story was also pretty good, I loved the whole exchange about their powers coming from a scientist in California, not God. The scene where Angela told them about how they gave them their powers was pretty good to. Now, I'm wondering who else has artificial powers. I was kinda confused about who it was that froze Angela. At first I was thinking it actually was Arthur Patrelli, but now I'm wondering if it was Maury instead.
I also really enjoyed the Hiro/Ando story. I actually thought the idea of a "Cantina for specials" was pretty cool. Like usual we had alot of great interaction between all of the different characters. I really like Daphne and Hiro, they would definitely make a better couple than her and Park-Man. I hope they keep Knox around, because I'm starting to like him. I can't believe you guys actually think Hiro really killed Ando, there is noway in hell that he did that. He obviously faked it somehow.
Now that I look back at the episode, I'm wishing I could go back and change my vote to exellent.
