I guess Peter can't heal now that he's in the Jesse body. Problem is, he doesn't know what Jesse can do. So, how did Peter turn into such a prick? Has Nathan rejected him since he confessed? I mean seriously, what the hell?

What I felt is that it returned to the feel of the first season. It's also played up the betrayel storyline nicely with Peter/Nathan/Angela and Hiro/Ando.

Wow what a great premiere. Now I remember why I love this show.
Some questions:
What was Nikki doing the last time we saw her? I was confused when she showed up as someone else (intended I guess) but I don't remember where we left off with her.
Also: Didn't Linderman die in season 1? Why wasn't Nathan surprised to see him "alive"?

- Finally seeing how Sylar takes peoples' powers was an incredible sight. He just examines them just as I thought. "There it is!" What does he do with the brains afterward though?
- Why didn't Claire's crown grow back when it was cut off? By the way, seeing her get it was really something too. I didn't see them going that route.
- Nikki/Traci prancing out in lingerie... Oh man!!!
Someone get some screencaps. Pronto! Who is she and where did she come from anyway?
- This show is going the same route as The 4400. That show also introduced a serum that could give anyone powers.
- I thought that Bruce Davison was guest starring. Then I realized it was William Katt.
- Alchemy is actually a pretty cool power. Seeing Sylar turn that gun into gold was pure gold.
- I actually thought that Parkman was hearing the turtle's thoughts.
I also thought it was cool.
- Saw the mom bit coming a mile away. Actually I predicted it about two seconds before Sylar said it.
- Okay, all in all, it looks like the show is becoming a bit of a parody of itself with the way everyone spoke and acted along with the way everything was shot. I don't know if it was because they're trying to infuse the show with a bit of a comic book feel or something else, but that's what I saw.
- Things seem to be getting a bit repetitive with the world getting destroyed in the future. ...again. Seeing those paintings of a cracked Earth with fire and lava flowing out was cool though. Looked like serious business even if it was more of the same.
- The characters' seemed to be moved around in ways that looked like they were trying to find new and interesting things for the cast to do.
- I was engaged for the two hours and I found it above average for Heroes despite some of the thoughts I expressed.

Thanks Dorian. I looked at your spoilers. It just reinfoces what I said above. It really does look like they're trying to find ways to keep the cast around with something to do whether things flow naturally or not.

Great episode, and it looks like this show is FINALLY back. Other than a few moments from S2, I haven't really enjoyed Heroes since "How to Stop an Exploding Man." It's awesome to see such a strong entry into the new season. It was cool to see Bruce Boxleitner, too.

I thought it was a great season premier. I didn't even remember it was going to come on till someone called and told me. Glad he did though because it looks like this season is going to be more interesting than the last season (I hope).
I'm glad they are going with side effects to injecting yourself with hero juice, kind of like using drugs. I wonder if they will also go with powers wearing off with time and being addictive?
Heh I thought Niki had developed new powers with a new personality. I like the triplet idea much better though. I hope "Niki" shows up this season too though, I liked here character.
So will Peter turn bad guy or is he going to try and help those guys out? Is he really in another body or did future Peter fuck with his head so he thinks he is?
Angelia Petrelli Professor X? That women is a bitch, seems to me like she will play the villain this season. Why do you think her husband committed suicide? I'm guessing the Petrelli brothers took after their dad and Sylar....
