Help Star Trek Defeat Harry Potter In the Hollywood Movie Awards

Vote for Star Trek in the Hollywood Movie Awards here. Right now, the latest Harry Potter movie is leading by two percent.

I never expected it to be so close. Thus, our votes really DO count. Go HARRY-- I mean, GO TREK! :)

Megan Fox in a huge lead for female star of the year? What kind of awards are these anyway?

Awards voted in by us, the internet.

Yeah. I suspect Harry Potter and Star Trek are leading because of the huge nerd fanbases behind both franchises, while, say, Hurt Locker is limping home like a wounded animal.

I must confess to treason now, I voted for killing me some Nazis. Pity I couldn't give Diane Kruger the nod for best female star, grrr.

I voted Basterds, too. But even if it weren't on the list, I'd had voted for District 9 or The Hurt Locker long before I voted Trek.

Hey, I too am a nerd. Just a traitorous one who liked Quentin Tarantino's movie better (though I would have voted for the sci-fi flick Moon if it was on the list... does that help my nerd credentials somewhat?)

You can do that. Vote for District 9 tomorrow, the Hurt Locker the day after and in three days you vote for Trek.:p

I voted Up, but D9 would have been my second choice.

I swear, if any of the big-budget, spectacle-driven brainless blockbuster extravaganzas win (especially RoTF), I will officially lose all faith in humanity.
