I started this thread just to let fellow Star Trek novel readers know that one of the authors of these books we enjoy was having a hard time in case anyone wanted to help.

I'm sad about the direction the thread has taken and I wish the moderators would just delete it.

This started out as a thread with the best of intentions, unfortunately it ended up as a bit of a disaster, so it's closed. Thankfully it looks like KRAD is going to be okay for work for now, so it can end on a bit of a high note.

BrentMc - your intentions were good, don't let the actions of others spoil that for you.

I assume KRAD will pay back those who donated to his cause, right? After his contract money comes in. This was just a loan, right?

^Wow. Relax dude. I wasn't insisting that he pay it back or anything. I never saw the goFundMe thing, so I didn't know the stipulations. I was going by what other people said in the thread, and it sounded like he was looking for a loan. I don't begrudge KRAD anything. Take it down a notch.

My reaction to your set of questions was very similar to Christopher's - you may have meant them as innocent questions, but taken together written the way you did, they read as accusatory. I'm sure (and hope) you didn't mean it that way, but this is a written medium which means we only have your words to go by.

And taken in that light, Christopher's response is no way near as unreasonable as you are trying to make it out.
