At least unlike a certain other science fiction show from another certain company, they're making an Academy show! I might actually support this.

HG can easily afford to develop a new series, why are they crowdfunding this other than being cheap?

I'd be more sympathetic if they weren't so lawsuit happy and had tied up all rights and uses for the Macross property outside Japan.

I also wish they'd stop roadblocking the other Macross shows too, but I also think Robotech has become it's own separate entity and I want to see it progress to wherever it's going.

I especially want an English release of Macross Frontier.
