Well, that was pretty good. I knew they'd leave us hanging about the fate of Naomi and William, and that we'd be seeing them before I saw her name in the credits. A couple of other developments I foresaw thanks to the commercials. I do have to wonder about Bohannon breaking his word to Brigham Young, though. And history tells us that as far as Ogden is concerned, Durant will win that race.
I was surprised that no treachery was revealed on Huntington's part regarding Bohannon's family. And that Bohannon finally got around to telling somebody who really killed Johnson!
I have to say that developments with Eva could be foreshadowing what I predicted upthread....
You gotta love a show that gives us lines like "I found you in a pile of pig slop gnawing on a chicken bone."
I am curious as to exactly when the show is supposed to be right now. If Grant is actually President, and not President Elect, then it's after the inauguration in March 1869. But the Golden Spike was struck at Promontory in May 1869, and that seems a bit further away for the railroads than inside of two months.
