Great, great photo. I also wonder what direction Trek would have taken if Yeoman Rand had stuck around. I read Grace Lee Whitney's autobiography and would like to know who she refers to when she discusses her ouster from the series.

It is a mystery that continues to the present day as far as I am aware.

Grace Lee Whitney said that she had heard that Kirk and Rand were becoming too much like a couple and GR did not want that.

There was at least one story of her being unreliable and unprofessional that seemed to be rumors only.
