Heads up for King of the Hill fans

yeah really, I know what thats like, theres a really good restauraunt here food wise, but if you don't pour sulphuric acid on the tables and chairs before you sit down, you will get hepatitas B

I wanted Hank to actually punch Bill and smoosh the damn sandwich in Octavio's face. This isn't even our usual uptight Hank. This was like lowlife central, and you know calling even a single one on their behavior would been the usual unified glare routine.

I guess that must have been a reeeeeeally good meatloaf sandwich.

I've eaten at places like that, where it's just a long picnic table. Good food though.

Hey Propaniacs, hows your week been?

I found a little something about last Sunday's episode on the Hot Chicks with Douchebags site.

The long running and always amusing King of the Hill had an episode where Bobby douches out. Ah yes, I remember when animated shows were clever and creative. Or, as I like to term it, the years B.S.F. (Before Seth MacFarlane)

Anyway this week Dale is our focus as he is more or less dealing with being on his own.

King of the Hill: Nancy Does Dallas 3/22/09

After Nancy takes a glamorous new job in Dallas and temporarily leaving Dale behind he finds the freedom of the bachelor life too hard to handle.

Maybve Dale with get that ass kicking he deserves this time.

You could almost see in Hank's face : "If I call this idiot woman out for letting her diapered child crawl on the table and touch my food with fingers that have likely been inside that diaper, I will be accused of hating babies. If I remind Bill that I brought him along to keep people away from me, he will cry."

Its almost sad that he doesn't even try anymore, but its good in a continuity sense that he knows when he can't win.

Speaking of said kicking, I thought I'd start asking : What is your most infuriating Hank moment? Even if funny, there are some moments when, if Hank just started swinging wildly at people, you couldn't blame him.

Mine : Apres Hank, Le Deluge. Everyone's idiocy reigns supreme, with Bill actually betraying Hank, as opposed to just confounding him and making his life difficult. Worst moment : When the crowd holds Hank responsible for things while the flood-control guy who abandoned his post stands there, admits it, shrugs it off, and goes unblamed! I know there's some Dale and Cotton moments that outclass this one for callousness and cruelty, but its what we expect from them.

god fucking damnit, they gave dale a reason to exist, I was hoping this episode would end with Nancy dominating the Dallas news and leaving Dale, who blows his brains out in the last scene

I loved this episode. Easily one of, if not the best of the season so far. I loved seeing Dale's crazy antics without Nancy, and Nancy trying to backstab her coworkers was great.

The only problem with Dale monitoring all of calls in the house is that he must of overheard Nancy talking about John Redcorn/Joseph at some point.

I'm sure they talked in code or something. Besides, we know how clueless he is when it comes to Nancy and Redcorn!

Or he thought they talked in code :

Dale : "Joseph is not Dale's son, he must not find out. Crafty, Nancy. Veeeeery crafty, but not quite crafty enough. If you transpose every other letter into Aramaic, it reads : Peggy and I are going to max out our hubbies' cards on new dresses. So simple. What kind of fool does she take me for?"

from the episode where Dusty Hill guest starred
Redcorn: (in front of everyone) "I slept with his (Hank's) best friends wife for 13 years"
Dale: "yeah, Bills wife is such a slut"

It showed how much Dale and Nancy keep each other in check...Nancy puts the stop to Dale more outrageous plans and because of that Nancy own bad habits are controlled because keeping Dale from killing himself is a full time job and it's hard to plan destroying other people while trying to stop that.

While the show is still enjoyable on some level, on the main level after so many seasons I'd liek to start seeing things get tied up and each new episode where someone does something stupid and Hank has to get it fixed, is just starting to get annoying.

I didn't watch season 12. So if it's been happening there, then no -- I haven't been watching. But I've seen nearly every episode now in re-run, and have watched nearly every episode from this season.

See, so far we've had Luanne having her baby and finally starting to think for herself. Hank got over losing the state Championship from High school, Bobby is becomming more independent and grown up, Peggy is learning that she is fine like she is and doesn't need to look to others for acceptance, and Nancy and Dale are need each other to protect themselves from themselves.

Now, all they need to do is resolve Bill's problem of....dang. Sir, can we have another 12 seasons? This could take awhile.
