Heads up for King of the Hill fans

They become kind of problematic. One poster suggested that Didi finally left Cotton due to his verbal abuse, but she didn't seem to have enough brainpower to do register that he was being abusive.

One absurd (except for the fact of dealing with Cotton) thought : Didi and GH were actors (GH being someone else's kid) that Cotton hired to drive Hank insane.

"Lessee. I'll make Hank think I married someone from his kiddygarden days, that I'm still makin' babies, give the baby his name, and THEN I'll walk away and make him take care of them for a spell!"

^That would be a HILARIOUS way to handle it!

(You didn't watch 'How I Met Your Mother' 2 or 3 weeks back did you? ;))

I've since Wiki'd that Cotton made ref to them visiting her parents in 'Daletech'. Could it be her folks weren't anxious for their dimbulb daughter to go rushing back to an abusive, bitter old man who already left her once while pregnant? Still...I wouldn't put the scenario past Cotton, perhaps with the help of his often co-conspirator, Dale. Boy, that'd be an excuse for that ass-kicking.

I'm saying (in my theory, anyhow) that she was never Didi. Hank prolly hadn't seen her since kindergarten, or high school, in any event, and Cotton found someone who roughly resembled her, and then a baby who looked enough like Bobby to swing it, when the time came. He meant to one day laugh at Hank over it, but died before he could.

Mind you, as a real KOTH plot, its not bloody likely.

BTW, here's a short KOTH piece I wrote years ago.

My theory probably goes boom all by itself, but to answer your direct refutation, all that could have been staged. Everything about Cotton/Didi and GH pushed every last button Hank had, and Cotton was a complete bastard. All that said, she and GH are just forgotten/dropped story threads. Nothing was ever done with them, and with too many other characters competing for eps, nothing was likely to be done, especially given GH's age and the fact that Didi never showed even the hint of a brain that Luanne did. Cotton died alone and miserable, as he was meant to and how he seemingly wanted it. Maybe the writers just realized they had no use, even tangentially, for those two. I mean, I'd rather watch a Connie-centric ep than one with either of them, because she's a character I give a damn about. I am surprised that Cotton didn't leave a video will to torment Hank one last time.

Oh, and if that whole cotillion episode a couple of weeks ago is any indication. Bobby might have himself a new asian girlfriend.

Misread, that scene perhaps, there was absolutely NO enthusiasim or embarassment/shyness in her voice, and the way that boy next to her was acting, I figured he had her call him and ask him out and then pull a switcheroo, so, next week, Bobby...gay??!!

The 19th and the 26th will feature new eps, with the 26th featuring a video will from--you guessed it--Cotton. I'm 50/50 whether this ep finally makes Hank feel close to him, or lets him finally vent. That's what I love about this show - you never know.

I was hoping they would follow up on Cotton's death..maybe then we will find out what happen to Didi and GH...

I had an ideal for a episode where at the reading of his Cotton's will Hank's 1/2 brother from Japan Junichiro comes to hear it and falls for Didi and Hank flips out thinking about his 1/2 brother becoming his other 1/2 brother's step-father and sort of his too.

Oh wow thanks for the update man. I haven't heard any new news on it lately.

Hey again Propaniacs. New episodes will be back on April 26th. It looks like it will be shuffled fo 7:30, but in Central time, that's where it usually is, but these notices are always in Eastern time.

It's looking like we'll see more of Cotton judging from the episode title: "Serves Me Right for Giving General George S. Patton the Bathroom Key,"

This will also be KOTH's 250th episode.

Check out a clip here where they openly mock such useless media terms like bromance.
