Heads up for King of the Hill fans

She is a youngish, somewhat attractive woman who chose of her own free will to marry and bear the child of a man with very, very few redeeming qualities, perhaps the fewest a man can have w/o actually being a villain. I'd say that basically any reason given for why she is that way could prolly be answered with a quick 'Yup', and stand better than average odds of being on target. But I would use 'retarded' in that she prolly smothers all thought processes she actually may have. I think most people actually born with mental retardation would use what wits they have to recognize Cotton as someone to be avoided.

thats the thing about Didi though, you ever LOOK at her, the way she's drawn her face looks like she is a crack head, my father married a woman that looks just like her, divorced her in less than a year because of the crack

I'm just saying she could at least do better than Cotton, and yet chose him. However you want to phrase it, whatever the origin, she's addled.

KOTH is moving back to 8:30 or 7:30 for us in the Central time zone. did Sit down and Shut up get canned already?

Not yet but it's ratings stink so it's has been stuck into the 7pm (Eastern time zone)"black hole"spot with reruns of American Dad and their only airing 5 episodes for it's "1st season"....if it survives the other 8 episodes that have been made or atleast ordered will air for it's 2nd season(if it gets one)...I'm betting once The Cleveland Show starts SdaSu will be gone.:techman:

Here are some articles about the 250th episode.

Some of these articles are just re-prints of the Pamala Adlon interview, and some are saying that this last episode was the last, but the KOTH MySpace page is telling me that more episodes at the 8:30/7:30 central are coming. So take these for what you will.

Oh, has anyone seen the promos for The Goode Family on ABC? Still has that same Mike Judge animation style. Sort of looks like a reverse American Dad.

I realize that it would be almost in-character for KOTH, but I'd hate for the series to end with one of Cotton's manipulations as its marker.

From what I understand even though it's canceled..their still going to air atleast a few more new episodes next season.

I think they have like 13 episodes left over to air next season, ie a full season. If you go on the wiki page they list like ten unaired episode titles.

I figured that was whats going on.

Season 14: 2009-2010 Fox ordered 13 more production episodes that will air during its 14th season, along with any holdovers from the previous production line (DABEXX) will make up the season. Airdates are unknown

Future screenplays/scripts
The following are scripts/screenplays that have not currently been scheduled: Title Prod. code "The Boy Can't Help It [7]" DABE12 "The Honeymooners [8]" DABE13 "Bill Gathers Moss [9]" DABE14 "When Joseph Met Lori, and Made Out with Her in the Janitor's Closet [10]" DABE15 "Just Another Manic Kahn-Day [11]" DABE16 "To Sirloin With Love [12]" DABE17

So I guess that means 13 new plus 6 holdovers equals 19 eps next season!

Wow. Good news, then. :)

At first, I was hoping they would go ahead and wrap the show up, given that it was starting to feel a bit tired. Lately, however, it seems like KoTH's quality has picked back up. And, frankly, given my growing disdain towards 'Family Guy' and the lackluster quality of 'Sit Down, Shut Up' I'd settle for inferior KoTH over either of those shows.

Dales latest Douchebaggery

(ordering a burger from Hank) "i'd like a cheeseburger, hold the pickles, onions, cheese and meat, and throw out the special sauce, i want SUPER special sauce"

"I'm definately feeling some tension in the air....I'm definately enjoying it"

Hanks douchebaggery wasn't much better. Bobby's complete lack of anything resembling athletic ability aside, Hank was a first-class jerk tonight. It couldn't stop trashing Bobby to anyone who would listen.

^yeah, I was realy hoping that the positive encouragement Bobby was getting would motivate him to be atleast a decent player and teach Hank a lesson

Dale's douchebaggery this time was a welcome relief compared to Bill's excessive douchebaggery.

Hank looked bad this week, the poor guy just couldn't catch a break at all. The positive reinforcement did help Bobby, but that's all the coach would offer without constructive criticism. He should have pulled Bobby for the team. I too would have liked Bobby to stick with it and improve as best as he could. Of course I speak from regret of not sticking with baseball myself. But at least Hank is encouraging his other pursuits.

This week Luanne is trying to break into the childrens entertainment market with the Manger Babies. Sounds fun.

^yeah, as an after thought, and it sounded forced, it looked like Hank gave up on day 1 of tee ball, and it was Hank's giving up that never realy motivated Bobby, I think Bobby likes playing baseball, but it's more of him attempting to get some attention from his father

When you get right down to it, at lot of time Hank comes off as a pretty crappy father and/or family man. In his own way, he's "Cotton lite".

Hank came off as being more concerned about being embarrassed than anything to do with Bobby. Encouraging Bobby to try softball wasn't a bad idea but everything came from his not wanting to be personally embarrassed himself. The coach proved constructive positive reenforcement helps but his inability to constructively criticize was counterproductive.
