"He Walks Among Us"-- lost Spinrad script

Although Hughes did own RKO at the time the movie was made (1951), and also produced an earlier Hawks film, Scarface (1938).
 
Before the point was made that the script obviously didn't have "Uncle Miltie" in mind for the part, I was thinking "Who might have a background similar to his in today's world, that might be able to play the character?"

The first name that came to me- Robin Williams.

Can you imagine him appearing in a Phase II episode?

"As Bayne enters. Dressed in flowing robes, looking quite
regal, Bayne is a largish, heavy man of great dignity...and
just as obviously a Negro from earth."

From that description, it sounds like you need to track down James Earl Jones.

(James Earl Jones in Star Trek. *sigh*)
