I wouldn't be surprised if Yelena becomes the new Black Widow and takes her late sister's superhero name in her honor, letting Romanoffs continue the legacy.

She already is the new Black Widow. It's not a superhero name -- it's the name of every assassin who came out of the Red Room, from Dottie in Agent Carter to Natasha to Yelena and all the others we saw in the movie.

And she's not a Romanoff (or more properly Romanova), she's a Belova. They aren't biological sisters -- it was a childhood cover identity that they chose to embrace later in life.

Given that Yelena has not attempted to Americanize her accent as Natasha did, I don't think she'd Americanize her surname either, so it would be Romanova if she did adopt it.

But Yelena Belova is the name she's always gone by in the comics, so I assume they'll stick with that in the MCU.

As far as we know. Though Natasha's full name is actually Natalia Alianovna Romanova (Natasha is a diminutive of Natalia). Yelena's patronymic has not been revealed either in comics or in the MCU.

Well it was the name both Zola and the Red Skull used, and the latter even knew her father's name, which is more information that Natasha had, so it seems to be a safe assumption.

Random observation after just re-watching the Black Widow movie; right at the beginning during the prologue, as they're going inside for dinner little Yelena yells out "I want mac and cheese!"

I totally missed that the mac & cheese thing was a callback. Such a neat little detail.

Oh, damn! I completely missed that, too. Great catch.

In AoS there WAS a group that were similar to Q-Anon types, the MCU adaptations of the Watchdogs who blamed Superhumans (including the Avengers) for escalating disasters on Earth and wanted them shut down and all Superbeings registered/locked up.

They were more Inhuman specific, really...
