Have you ever noticed how your never wrong?

Nah. I'm not never wrong. I'm rarely wrong.

I've changed positions on a number of things over the years. Usually because of the weight of overwhelming evidence to the contrary of my position.

I used to be a Republican (then I grew up.)
I used to think unions were a joke (then my workplace screwed me hard.)
I used to be "pro-life." (then I started listening to women.)
I used to think unsolicited compliments on a woman's appearance were fine (see above.)
I used to think gay people were "icky." (then I met some.)
I used to be religious (then I applied logic.)

Well I guess the spelling might be wrong in the factual sense but if we judge language simply on the ability to communicate a concept or idea then I think it's not wrong because we can still see what my intent was by using the bad spelling! So you see my head-canon once again saves me.:)

So, you're saying you weren't wrong? ;-)

Yep because I never am wrong. Even when I am kind of wrong it is because the world is wrong. If I spell a word the incorrect way it is because my spelling should have been the correct one all the time! PLus I somehow win all arguments when talking about my favorite shows and movies so people should just accept them as the truth.:)

True wisdom begins with the understanding that you don't know everything and that some of the things you do know are wrong.

I agree. Plus I think it's important to ask questions even if it might make you look stupid. Something I have done more than a few times, especially here on the trekbbs.

Sometimes when I am wrong, the universe rewrites itself to make me right. It's happened twice now.

The first time was a disagreement with my PoliSci prof in my freshman year in college. The question was asking us to predict events in the then- Soviet Union in the near future. (This was Fall 1989.)

I predicted that not only would the Baltic republics secede, but that the entire Soviet Union would collapse into its independent states (and possibly others seeking regional independence or autonomy.)

My professor gave me a B+ and wrote "Unlikely" on my paper.
Two years later, and WHO'S UNLIKELY NOW, BITCH?

The second time was much simpler, it ended when the Brontosaurus was declared a REAL dinosaur, like I always knew it was. Screw you, Middle School Science Teacher!
