Okay, so not really, but I had a really shitty breakup with a girl I was engaged to.

You're young, and you don't need to be in a relationship to be happy, but as I said: you could do far worse than Jeffery Combs.

Well, yes, 25 is young, but honestly I thought I'd be married by now...

I thought I'd be married and at least one kid by now. Things change.

I am however not depressed or suicidal anymore, a state that in which I've spent most of my time since I was in 11 in. And I have a job I kinda like. Things change, some times to the better.


To be more on topic, this guy needs a wake up call indeed. A big one. But above all, be honest about how you feel. Lying about things in a relationship is never good.

Yeah, I started this thread, so I'm just going to rant for a second because I'm super pissed right now...

My *ahem* significant others cellphone keeps "disconnecting" and thus ending the phone call, and yeah, I'm starting to get really frigin annoyed. I talked to the guy for like ten minutes yesterday, then for less than that today, and now his cellphone keeps "disconnecting"....Oh yes, I'm definitely getting the hint....Hope he gets mine...A frigin baseball bat over the head...Oy vey...

Well, before you do something rash, like throw a notebook computer at him (It does hurt. And yes, I've tried it. Twice, in fact.) Please make sure he doesn't have an iPhone 4G, cause my 4G got me into all kinds of trouble with my better half. They tend to disconnect also.

Well, from his past behavior, I wouldn't hold my breath, luv'. But you should give him the benefit of the doubt, since its possible. The 4G has a notoriously bad reception. Until I modified mine, it could sometimes disconnect a call simply by me getting into my car. While i do admit i had a lt of equipment in it that might interfere, I've yet to disconnect a call on my Galaxy Gio or any of my work phones.

Or, you could try this: the next time he calls, hang up on him. When he calls back, hang up again.
