Hate the teaser for All Good Things

gakelly

Commander
Red Shirt
"Counselor, counselor, what's the date? Today's date?"
Just an absurd scene. Any other time Picard would have just asked the computer.
It's like walking around with a cell phone and running through a store to find someone to ask what the date is?

Yeah, it's not great but you know...he was discombobulated and stuff, so he made an old man mistake. ;)

Maybe he didn't believe the computer after walking in on Data in the computer core room showing just how many techniques he's programmed to do... :o

It makes sense when you are jumping through time 6 years into the past to and then 30 years into the future.

Worf had recently gotten lost in the multiverse and cannot be trusted.
Well, Troi had recently been all messed up from that Eye of the Beholder episode. She may have still been in her daydream.

If you think about the entire series, the crew members really have some messed up lives. Who would be considered the most normal out of the group? But then I guess the show would be pretty boring if not.

O'Brien was the most normal, most straight forward and down to earth crewmember...

...then he left Enterprise for his new posting, was tortured, spent 20 years in solitary confinement, had his daughter fall through a time portal in a cave and came back a feral child, watched his wife become possessed by demons, was infected by a biogenic weapon, was forced to play racketball with smug a-holes, and physically, literally watched himself die like 5 times...

He is now insane

Well, you'd probably be surprised that some people still call my local afternoon sports talk radio show and ask about scores that they could get online...

"I'm better!"
"Interesting."
Counselor Troi was a confidant. He was turning to her, not the ship's computer, because he's not a robot. He immediately describes the situation to her...not to Starfleet Command, because this affected Picard. He is fraught with emotions, overwhelmed.
