Hasbro's Power Rangers era and General Tokusatsu discussion

It could also be a play on "revise", as in to do-over/make corrections. Would be quite fitting, for an anniversary year.

Oh, that's right, it's an anniversary. So maybe "revisit" or "review" is where they're going with it -- except they just did that sort of thing with Zi-O three years earlier.

... it would also be fitting if it's good, coming after the lackluster book Rider.

I dunno, I think Saber has gotten better, albeit rather dark. It's not as good as Zero-One was, but it's okay. Although it helps that it has terrific music. Saber's henshin/heroism theme is one of my favorite pieces of tokusatsu music.

So let's see... It's still one more year before we see if they'll actually do Kamen Rider Shinobi as the 2022 series.

I'm a little obsessed today with something I can't figure out. Folks may recall that I have an interest in identifying the recurring locations used in Super Sentai and Kamen Rider, and I've found a few websites that are good for that, like this one, which is neat because it has Google Maps links to a lot of the locations and some of them have street views you can look around in. But there's one location I've been trying to identify all day with a surprising lack of success, and that's the suspension bridge over a mountain gorge which they often use for stunt scenes in Toei shows dating back to the '70s and at least as recently as Go-Busters (it was featured prominently in episode 46 and in the Power Rangers Beast Morphers episode "Goin' Ape" adapted from it). But the only thing I was able to find that depicts it is this blog article about a Toei Spider-Man episode that featured it:

https://kamenriderrecap.wordpress.c...spider-man-episode-11-recap-a-bridge-too-far/

I've tried Googling for "Sentai suspension bridge" and "Toei suspension bridge" and just generally "Japanese suspension bridges" and the like, but I can't find any other images of that specific bridge, with the green towers and the wooden deck. It's weird, given what a perennial tokusatsu location it is. I wondered if anyone here could help track it down. It's not that important, but when I can't answer a question, it really nags at me.

Here's the bridge. I remembered Boukenger episode 6 started with the bridge so I looked up Boukenger episode 6 locations

Nice change from Ryuusoulger. Asuna never work the dimevolcano armor. Dino Fury shot original footage of Dino Fury pink wearing the armor.

Although I'm a bit bummed that the dimetro blazing zord debut felt so underwhelming. It's been a common problem with current power ranger series. They're just rushing through things.

Ryuusoulger dedicated almost an entire episode to dimevolcano. Fleshing out the character.

I wonder if TsuuKaiser will be officially considered the 7th member of the Gokaigers or a Extra Hero?

I hope we don't see Twokaiser. it would really suck to finally get the Gokaiger's back in a story focused on them, only to have the worst 6th ranger in the franchise come dancing in like a moronic character in a show for toddlers (which is what Zenkaiger basically is, Sentai for especially stupid two year olds).

Gokaiger is my favorite sentai, and possibly my favorite Toku show period, but if Twokaiser shows up for more then a cameo (and a cameo would suck, but I could deal with it) I'd have to just not watch. Not even my favorite sentai can combat the single worst sentai character and his shitty, infuriating dancing.

Marvelous with an eyepatch?

That idiot is NOT a Gokaiger, he's just stolen the look. He can only use two alternate forms and his actual costume doesn't copy the original sentai, it just gets a look inspired by them. He's no more a Gokaiger then Stacaeser is a member of Battle Fever. He's based on the Gokaiger, but is nothing like them in powerset or anything other then vaguely looking like them (but much, much worse looking, like everything in Zenkaiger).
