Has there been a real life SUBMARINE battle since World War II?

Submarine warfare has been in a lot of movies over the years like CRIMSON TIDE but I was wondering has there been any real life underwater battles since WW II...

The British used a nuclear powered sub to sink an Argentinian ship during the Falklands war:

Two separate British naval task forces (surface vessels and submarines) and the Argentine fleet were operating in the neighbourhood of the Falklands, and soon came into conflict. The first naval loss was the World War II vintage Argentine light cruiser ARA General Belgrano. The nuclear-powered submarine HMS Conqueror sank the Belgrano on 2 May

Interesting question. I'm sure a few submarines were destroyed since then but an actual submarine vrs submarine hmmmmm

From what I can tell, only two submarines have sunk enemy warships in combat since 1945. In December 1971 the Pakistani submarine PNS Hangor torpedoed and sank the Indian frigate Khukri. And, as already mentioned, HMS Conqueror sank the Argentinian warship General Belgrano during the Falklands conflict.

The Pakistani submarine PNS Ghazi (formerly USS Diablo) may have been sunk by depth charges from the Indian destroyer INS Rajput in November 1971, which would make it the only submarine sunk by enemy fire since 1945. Though the Pakistanis dispute this: they say that the Ghazi was sunk by the onbaord detonation of its own mines or torpedoes, rather than by enemy fire.

I have to say--there is a surprising amount of information on Wikipedia about the Indo-Pakistani Naval War of 1971. :)
