So you fuck your employees and then you fire them. Classy.

Anyone else need other reasons for not dating your boss? :p
I think you missed the relevant "classy" part of that text. "Typically they get an attitude that they can get away with shit cause I'll back them. Their mistake." Now THAT'S what I call "classy". Some chick thinks she can get away with crap that they know they couldn't get away with before just cause they get intimint with the boss. Yeah sure, now that is real class there.:guffaw:
So you fuck your employees, fire them, and then come up with excuses for it telling "they got an attitude". Even more classy. :p

Again, what other reasons people need for not dating their boss?

I am constantly amazed at the selective reading/comprehension of people. THEY got an attitude because THEY did not think THEY had to continue to do THEIR job cause they were screwing the boss/owner of the company. SOME people seem to think that screwing the boss/owner allows for special privileges. IT DOES NOT. Do your job, do it well and and YOU can keep YOUR job. If YOU think that screwing the boss/owner gets YOU special privileges then YOU need to find another place to work because YOU are causing problems.

So let me ask YOU. If YOUR co-worker started screwing the boss/owner and suddenly thought YOU should do more of HER job would you think it is “classy” for the boss/owner to keep her on, or would it be more “classy” to get rid if her?

Have a nice day. And, perhaps YOU should leave the boss/owner alone.

I actually have and it didn't work out that well.

It worked out great. She got promoted and I was assigned her job.

Then we broke up.

Don't get your knickers in a twist. I'm mostly kidding here, but I do have a point for doing that.

My point being, we are only hearing your side of the story. She might have a very different tale to tell. One where the boss gets into her pants, enjoys himself, and then he turns nasty, treats her disrespectfully, and at the end he fires her when she stops being compliant. Legal complications ensue.

So, to conclude, it's a bad idea for everyone involved to fool around between boss and employees. You had it fine (for now) but the statistics, just only in this thread, is against that.

Have a nice day. And, perhaps YOU should leave the boss/owner alone.
And maybe YOU should leave all-caps pronouns alone, buddy boy. :p

Man, I'll say. Having a fling with the boss and trying to take advantage of that on the job? Bad. Having a fling with an employee and firing her (for whatever reason)? Bad.

This is, as I think vigilia_ognissanti was trying to indicate, a perfect example of why people shouldn't have affairs with their bosses and why bosses shouldn't have affairs with their subordinates. Because it's bad. Just bad.

Just looking at it from an outsider's perspective, it seems to me that nobody has acted in a "classy" way. Worse yet, those above the boss and the employee won't be able to discern who acted badly, either. They'd probably both get fired.

Very true. Another good reason why you shouldn't date your own boss in the first place. How indeed.

Yep. I'm glad my sarcasm isn't completely lost on this issue.

Again, spot on. That's exactly my point.

Given that all of my bosses were men in their late 40s.. no  (except for my mom and me dating her would be.. awkward ;))

It's always a bad idea to date within the company.. bad idea between colleagues on the same level and especially a bad idea if you date above your powerlevel and the worst idea to date your direct boss.

You just don't dip your pen into the company ink well (or however that saying goes).. i recently discovered that a female coworker is single again and i find her quite attractive but i would never begin something with her.. however it's fun to tease her to set her up with this guy from work who she actively abhors.. the panic in her eyes is fantastic when i mention i'll tell him she's single again

Yeah.. i'm evil

"Mostly" kidding. Yeah sure. "you have a point"? Ok, make it.

My knickers are not in a wad. Not only do I not where them I've not seen ANYONE where them - EVER.

Only hearing my side? Well, that seems to be the nature of the thread doesn't it. Deal with it. Either have the guts to call me a liar or accept it.

" One where the boss gets into her pants, enjoys himself, and then he turns nasty, treats her disrespectfully, and at the end he fires her when she stops being compliant. Legal complications ensue." Is there an unfounded accusation there? Please by all means make it if you have some iformation about it. You don't as there is none. AND I have NEVER had suit filed on me for it (I'm sure that is much to your dis satisfaction)

" So, to conclude" Ha Ha Ha. Somehow I doubt you will. You seem to be thriving on making things up that you cannot site.

"it's a bad idea for everyone involved to fool around between boss and employees." This is only your opinion as it has worked out rather well for me.

"And maybe YOU should leave all-caps pronouns alone, buddy boy." AND MAYBE I SHOULD NOT CHICKA. LMFAO!!!

OH, HAVE A NICE DAY.
