Harry Potter - What would you like to see next?

A Watchmen-esque deconstruction would do a lot in breaking down the rather skewed idea of morality in Rowling's cardboard world.

Now this might appeal to me.

Fanfic.Net. type "manipulative Dumbledore" into the search engine, or just start perusing story summaries. LOTS of that type of story.

Personally, I would like to see a prequel series about the wizards and witches who fought during World War II. Especially if Dumbledore was a member of a crack commando unit. Don't know why, but I just think it would be fun.

What would you like to see?

I'd like to see the muggles form an armed resistance against the wizards world-wide. Also, I'd like to see some of the other wizards in other countries - e.g. American wizards.

I wouldn't trust Rowling to write such a thing...she made such a mess out of books six and seven it isn't even funny.

JKR has said in the past, she has no intentions of writing more story in Harry Potter's world, the only thing she'd be interested in would be more Encylopedic stuff for Charity, such as Fantastic Beasts and so forth.

Well, she appears to have changed her mind. Guess she isn't rich enough...

I was thinking about what might be an interesting narrative to such a muggle v. wizard war.

After Voldemort's death and that he had sicked the death eaters on Potter and clan on London the muggles become far more aware of the wizards because of their frequent intrusions in the non - wizard world.

As a result several politicans attempt expose Harry, his family and the rest of his schoolmates at Hogwarts.

Muggle scientists discover a method to enter the wizard world and bring modern weapons and kill several students [including Potters child] attending Hogwarts and level the castle.

Harry in an act of rage attacks the real world and an all out world war begins - bringing Harry to the dark side of wizardry.
