Yes, many Fairy Penguins (also known as Little or Blue Penguins) live in Tasmania. This species is the smallest of the penguins.

I am not very partial to the penguins myself. I don't think they are particularly good looking or interesting birds. I didn't get the appeal of March of the Penguins either. It seemed like anything you would have seen 20 years ago on PBS' Nature.

I will admit to liking girls in Hooters outfits too much though.
