Happy Kelvin Day, y'all!
As long as the Robau exists hope is alive.
Happy Kelvin day!
Walk with me.Hello.
I think that misses the point.l nominate January 15 for Kelvin Day on the assumption that stardate 2233.04, when the Kelvin Timeline was spawned, was actually .04 * 365 = 14.6 days into 2233 (regardless of Orci’s intent that the day of the year follow the period, since then I’d expect either .4 or .004).
I think that misses the point.
To each their own.It reschedules the point, that’s all.
No, it misses the point. The ship's registry is NCC-0514, chosen because May 14 is Grandpa Kelvin's birthday, for whom the ship is named after. Choosing a date in January does not reflect any of this at all. Which misses the point altogether. It reschedules the point, that’s all.

If I have to schedule my fun it's usually not fun anymore. Why do you assume it’s not fun to reschedule your fun with a proper in-universe argument?
Since the Defiant wasn't named after Rod-Rod, I don't see where you're going.Ok, so then I suppose that Defiant Day is going to be Rod Roddenberry’s birthday, because he’s had so much to do with the ship? You see where this is going?
Except that JJ’s grandfather and his birthdate have nothing to do with the Kelvin in-universe, no more than the Defiant NX-74205 is registered after Rod Roddenberry’s birthdate. .
