On Kelvin Day every year, we should all adopt that as an avatar. The Robau demands it.
I'd have loved a Kelvin novel as a prequel to the '09 movie. It's something they could have even done prior to the movie's release.
Which I'm surprised wasn't done. After all, the Transformers movies have novel prequels, as do several other big movies. Hell, the Star Wars Prequel movies each had their own novel prequel and sequel. Seems odd nothing like this was done with Trek, especially given Bad Robot's supposed dream of Trek being "transmedia."
This is eleven kinds of awesome.
^^I'm aware of all that. In that post I was specifically referring to the lack of novels. Particularly in this case, Kelvin novels. EG, back in 2009 we had Countdown serving as a prequel comic to provide Nero's 24th century backstory, meanwhile they could also have done a novel set on the Kelvin perhaps the mission they were on before getting pulled to check out the "lightning storm in space."
I assume it's your birthday again. Happy Mother's Day!Technically, it's Braga/Berman-style numbering (NX-01).
(Today, May 14, is my birthday, too.)
Honestly, I exist under the belief that Robau being in the movie is so obvious it's pointless to ask.Why is not one asking the big question-will Captain Robau show up in the next film?
