Thank you for having given STAR TREK its legitimacy in the acting department, which it had never acquired in The Classic Series. Yes, I know, you never saw there being any competition between TNG and TOS, but the fact was ... great acting was not a part of STAR TREK until The Next Generation started. Thank you for all of the great entertainment you've helped bring to us over the past decades. Thank you for being great with the fans. Yes, STAR TREK's been over for you for a very long time, but it will continue on for a very long time because of the example you set, so early on. And as a fan of it, I'm very happy about that.
