According to Memory Beta, "Apollo Day" is the name of the human holiday celebrated on July 20, according to the Star Trek novel A Flag Full of Stars by Brad Ferguson [link].

Of all my earliest memories, watching Armstrong step off the pad of the LEM onto the moon's surface on a black&white TV, remains the clearest to me.

At the time, it made it seem like anything was possible.
