Having grown up with Star Trek, it has brought so much entertainment and joy into my life. I think I was around 8 years old when I learned that I shared the same birthday as William Shatner. It really does make today that much more special.

I was about 11 when I made the same discovery! Happy birthday to William Shatner, you, AND me!

Happy birthday to you guys, and to the Shat-man.

Thanks for being my first hero, too.

Thanks for being an inspiration.

And later on, thanks for all the laughs.
