Unfortunately not, and it really bugs me The shoulder armor is the "authentic" one, though.

No, the first Elite I saw was after I had engaged the Covenent following the dropship.

theres an invisible elite at the beginning running away from the beacon, if you kill it it will drop something

The easiest way to get a Killionaire medal on Firefight is to target a dropship with the Laser Designator weapon. The rounds should come in just as the dropship is leaving, wiping out pretty much every enemy that just arrived.

Ahh, missed this. Although I'm sort of done with the game since Invasion is pretty much a rotation of the same three maps over and over again...

I know an easy way to get the "Heat in the pipe" 1,000,000 points achievment (on your own) in Firefight:

set the game to Firefight classic (the no limit one), set at legendary, and then go into the game options:
- set your health/shields and "invulnerable"
- put the damage at 300% and set the weapons ammo setting to "endless clip"
- change the waves from grunts and elites to elite generals on all waves and all wave types (main/boss/bonus etc.)
- put all the main skulls on
- and finally set yourself up with a jetpack, the fuel rod gun and the rocket launcher.

and after killing off the second bonus wave you should have 1,000,000.

I did the same, except I didn't change what enemies appeared. Probably should have, wouldn't have taken as long. Oh well, still got it.

Yeah, you can download gametypes that set all that up. Works best on Corvette.
