Halloween Costume Thread!

^ Never heard of Life on Mars? It's pretty cool. Used to be a UK series, this one is a US remake. Long story short: Cop from 2008 winds up in 1973. The character you look like :D is one of his fellow cops he meets there - very green 'rookie' but is probably the only one of the 1973 cops who is not a swaggering ham-fisted Neanderthal.

I've heard of it but never watched it. Checked out the site and see who you mean.

But the question is...do I look like Harvey Dent?! ;)

How does one get angstier than Harvey Dent? :vulcan: And if I had half of my face burned off and my girlfriend blown up, I'd be pretty angsty too.

Considering your picture is pre-burns (aside from the suit).... ;)

It looks good, though. You posting pictures of your makeup?

DONE!

Flux, your costume looks amazing!
^ Hey, sweet! I can't wait to see your costume. I'll probably die from beholding such ravishing cuteness, but it'll be worth it! :D
Don't die from the cuteness, Philo, don't die!
I just got in; I live in a sort of low-income artsy trendy neighborhood, and there was an amazing warehouse party just a 10 minute walk away.
This is my Danger Mouse costume. I wore it all day, and got a great response! I was worried that it might be a bit obscure in the States, but I guess a lot of little American kids watched Danger Mouse on PBS just like me! It was so much fun to hear, "Oh it's Danger Mouse! Danger Mouse!" and to be waved at furiously! It's not exact, but I did pretty well, if I do say so myself!

Those go-go boots have three inch heels, and now my poor feet are aching. How do women do it every day?

I made the ears myself, which was a lot harder than I thought it'd be:

In line for the party:

I wore the eye-patch only half the time; I found the lack of glasses plus the lack of the left eye to be somewhat disorienting.

i went to a party and movie in an expensive silk traditional japanese clothes and a katana, and I wore an old flak jacket with pauldrons to make my shoulders stand out

Harvey Dent is made of win, and so is female Danger Mouse. :techman:

I was a pirate, but as most of the film is still left (disposable camera), it will be some time before there are any pictures. :(

I really was made of win...I went to a club, which had a costume contest..and I WON! $250! :)

Now to go get into a hot shower and peel this crap off!

I wanted to get a cheap suit from a thrift store, mangle it, get filthy and muss up my hair, then carry around an empty bottle of booze and be a senior bank executive. :techman: Alas it didn't work out.

We had our office party on Tuesday and a friend and I decided to team up. I was Ed. We had to explain who we were that I printed out a picture just to show people. Also, we could not find a cricket bat so we had to Americanize it....it was a last minute decision.
Good choice:)
