Halloween Costume Thread!

Wow fantastic costumes tsq and Flux! Though admittedly tsq looks cuter in hers (then again she's always cute) that is some serious dedication with cutting your hair a bit Flux.

Flux, your costume looks amazing!
^ Hey, sweet! I can't wait to see your costume. I'll probably die from beholding such ravishing cuteness, but it'll be worth it! :D
Don't die from the cuteness, Philo, don't die!
I just got in; I live in a sort of low-income artsy trendy neighborhood, and there was an amazing warehouse party just a 10 minute walk away.
This is my Danger Mouse costume. I wore it all day, and got a great response! I was worried that it might be a bit obscure in the States, but I guess a lot of little American kids watched Danger Mouse on PBS just like me! It was so much fun to hear, "Oh it's Danger Mouse! Danger Mouse!" and to be waved at furiously! It's not exact, but I did pretty well, if I do say so myself!

Those go-go boots have three inch heels, and now my poor feet are aching. How do women do it every day?

I made the ears myself, which was a lot harder than I thought it'd be:

In line for the party:

I wore the eye-patch only half the time; I found the lack of glasses plus the lack of the left eye to be somewhat disorienting.

Oh.... wow.

That's a treat to wake up to in the morning!

Gorgeous, TSQ! :)

Okay so my costume was nothing all that interesting, but it was kinda cool cause I did get to wear it to a wedding rehearsal last night:

I have to wholeheartedly agree. That is absolutely fantastic.

Well done!

Another brilliantly conceived costume. I am floored!

God, I wish I had such creativity when it came to cosplay...

I'll post mine soon, although I'm disappointed that I only have one picture of me as Le Chiffre. But after tonight, I'll definitely be posting some as Bond. James Bond.

I didn't dress up, I never have any good ideas anyway.

Flux, glad you were Harvery Dent. There were already a million guys out there dressed as the Joker anyway.

Others definitely have me beat (great costumes, especially Flux and TSQ), but it was pretty fun to wear.

In keeping with my Halloween username (as one must) I was a raven. :D

And just to pound the point home, with my little friend, Ray the Raven...:

Thanks! And I am quite okay with not being as cute as TSQ, I don't think that feat is humanly possible anyway.

I actually didn't cut my hair, but gelled that side of it down with incredibly strong gel then layered the latex over it.

Some really creative costumes everyone! Flux's make-up job is particularly brilliant.

Yes, well, I'd entreat you to perch your bust at my chamber door any time... :D

Aw now that's smart, why didn't I think of that? Bad filmmaker, bad!

Oh and "nevermore" fantastic constume as well, love the idea! :techman:

And CD...uh...Cleopatra? I think, it's a very small pic...

EDIT: Ah there we go! Cool! :techman:

Dammit all this is making me wish Halloween was a proper holiday here as well, I'd love to get another oppurtunity outside of anime conventions to dress up.

Lovely, as always FL. ;) -Dressing up as Sarah Palin would've been much scarier though. ;)
