Grimm - Season 5

That was a great episode, it was nice to get so much Truble, I've missed her.
We got a lot of nice movement on the Uprising story. I was surprised they were attacking other Wesen, I was expecting this to be simple Wesen vs Human conflict, but it looks like there will be more to it than that.
I was not surprised Xavier was setting them up, I doubted somebody like him would be able to escape from the bad guys that easily. His Wesen form was definitely freaky, and I got a kick out of the fact that even the other Wesen didn't want to see it.
I liked the reveal of HW, it adds a fun new element to the Grimm world.
HOLY CRAP, JULIETTE! I did not see that coming. This season has been their best one in a while, so hopefully they can repair the damage they did to Juliette.

Grimm is awesome. Would recommend that one all day long. Sleepy Hollow used to be good but feels like it's been losing its way lately. I still watch it, but if you were going to start something from square 1, I would definitely go with Grimm. It's gotten better over the years pretty consistently.

Good episode.

So glad that Alexander survived that purge. New Juliette now named Eve was pretty lazy writing, but not surprising. Now I'm eagerly waiting for the 100th episode.

Eve has a definite fem-bot terminator vibe going on. Her gaze is penetrating yet soulless and non-blinking; her facial expressions are non-existent and her head movements are quite precise, subtle and almost robotic in nature, like she knows precisely everything going on in the room around her. It was really quite creepy.

Reminds me of the female terminator in Sara Connor Chronicles played by Shirley Manson.

Good episode overall and a great return from hiatus. It really gave the impression that things are unraveling all over the world and that the creation of Eve was a move of pure desperation. "We did what we had to do" was a strong recurring theme last night. The best shows are the ones that show the main characters in real jeopardy. I feel this one has definitely achieved that level.

I loved this episode.

It has been so long since we last had an episode focused on Monroe. Also minimum Adalind and RoboJuliette/Eve which I consider a win these days.

Finally, the writers remember the keys still exist. The characters finding those 20 Grimm books was obviously the writers trying to fix some of the damage they did to the show after burning down the trailer, but I don't mind. I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. I imagine that plot point might have been a "suggestion" from NBC to get back some of that successful season one vibe.

Holy crap! Best episode since the Monore got kidnapped by the hate group from season 4.

I was getting some serious season one goodness vibes with Nick and Monroe teaming up to go on an adventure in a forest, the main plot being about the keys, and S1 flashback of the best version of Adalind, and even the flashback from S2 with Nick's mom.

Remember how much more colorful the look of the entire show was like something out of a fairy tale? When Monroe was the only one in on the Grimm secret and Nick's wacky Wesen partner? Remember when Juliette was the clueless girlfriend, Adalind the tormentor with no babies, Renard the shady boss? Damn... I really need to rewatch Season 1 before the upcoming season (series?) finale.

The stuff with the shooter was pretty average, but Renard might finally be going somewhere with that plot.

Ehhh at Nick sleeping with Adalind, the writers clearly want us to know Nick has forgiven her, so I decided to not care about it anymore since he doesn't.

The 100th episode is next week!

Great 100th episode! My favorite part was the Nick and Monroe adventure. Adalind getting her powers back is only going to make her storyline more interesting. I'm not feeling the Renard storyline, what direction are they going to take that exactly?

So we finally know what the treasure is that the keys led to. How does it work and can only Grimms use its power?

Just like it did a couple seasons ago. Did Adelinde (and Rosalee) somehow forget this?

They'd have to use the blood of another Grimm since Analind went thru the ritual to regain her powers. Nick's blood was speculated not to work on Juliette because Adalind used hers in her potion that she gave to Jules.

Too bad they don't know another Grimm to ask for a withdrawl.

Really enjoyed the last couple episode. I'm glad they resolved the whole thing with the keys, that was probably one of their biggest unresolved plots.
Nick and Monroe's storyline was a lot of fun, it's been a while since we had them having an adventure off by themselves. The healing stick was definitely intreguing.
I like that they are giving Adalind her powers back, I hope she gets to keep them without going bad.
We also got some interesting developments with the Black Claw stuff. I'm assuming Renard isn't actually going to work with them.
I'm curious what is going to happen with Rosealie's ex, I don't see him giving up yet.
I'm a big fan of Longmire so I got a big kick out of seeing former cast member Bailey Chase on here.

Renard may play along with Blackclaw in order to learn more about them. Plus, if he just happens to become mayor, well, that's icing on the cake to him.

Her involvement does seem to be a bit limited this season. Not sure I like the feeling I'm getting that she's been withholding information from Nick ever since she joined this new secret squirrel guvment outfit. Their lack of communication screwed everyone over this weekend with the assassin dude, as Renard quite correctly pointed out.

i wonder where that piece of wood came from. Could it be part of the cross used to crucify Jesus Christ or from the spear that pierced his side aka the Spear of Destiny? The Grimms who hid it away were Knights Templar IIRC. I doubt that they'll make Jesus a Wesen though.
