of course when Ion resurrected the old boys club, he did make some of them female, but that was well after the fact and had no bareing on the case that female guardians are Zamorans... Though Geoff Johns has made them a little less ridiculously hot.

I saw Adventureland last night where Ryan is playing an older married guy surrounded by hot little teenagers at work who he can't help but seduce the pants off.
Watching Kristen "Twilight" Stewart spend 15 minutes climbing his freestanding hunk of manliness sexnasium frame to finally find his mouth some where up there near the cloudline so she could add her tongue inside his face while that poor child held on for dear life like Humpty Dumpty afraid of a awful great fall, I couldn't help but note how ridiculous it is to cast any of the younger phalanx of actresses as his love interest.

Hollywood studios love to go younger for the leading lady. Look how many times Harrison Ford has had a screen wife who was at least 15 years younger. Jim Carrey has now entered his "Harrison Ford period" (Carrey was matched with Zooey Deschanel recently in some movie).
Ryan Reynolds will turn 33 this year. Rose Byrne (30 this year) would be an age-appropriate co-star.
Well he married a woman half his age, so it's not like the castings are utterly unbelievable, although even his current missus probably makes him alternate between the hat and the vest when she's living out her childhood fantasies about some work he had in the 70s.
Note, adventureland was a decent ccoming of age story with more drama than humour and Ryan's part was not as skeevy as I made out, due to it being the 80s and that's just how men were, but still it was a dramatic (albeit minor and supporting) role barely played for the laugh.

I agree that we probably won't see the other huamn Green Lanterns in the first movie and maybe not at all since they will want the focus to be on Hal Jordan. It would be confusing to a general audience why they're three Earth GL's.

But what they do, is name drop and cameo folkes before they get their capes in these things so that we rub our flippers with glee awaiting the sequel where Billy D Williams is Two Face... "Sigh".
Of course that would be expensive just for a few stalking horses.
