Looks pretty good.
to be honest its that dark, he just looks like Robin Hood from the recent BBC series, only with a more modern bow.
^ Well, Green Arrow does look a bit like a modern Robin Hood, doesn't he?
Yeah, its kind of his thing,
I guess he does, just something I was kinda hoping "Arrow" would avoid.
Yeah, Green Arrow has always been a modern day version of Robin Hood especially when he wasn't being a Batman clone.
In fact, I personally would have liked to see them doing something along the lines of the Neal Adams costume design, which looks even more like a modern day Robin Hood. But I guess that was too much to ask for.
At least he seems to have a bit of a beard.
all that Bourne Identity talk, earlier in the thread.
I guess it would be hard to do it, with him less like Robin Hood with tripping over Batman more.
New promo pic and possible timeslot.
When the show premiers how many reviewers are going to mention Hawkeye from The Avengers?
Could the show get more looks cause of any possible mix-up?
Hawkeye was in The Avengers?
Sure, almost 13 minutes.
You don't think some reviewers will do that? Mention that GA bears similarity to that guy in a movie that made A BILLION + $$$
Although those reviewers will be completely clueless about the history of the character, you're right, they'll do it.
Quite happy to see this on Wednesday night as my Fridays were pretty full already. Also good that Supernatural is following it. The preview trailer hinted at a more serious tone but who knows with the CW. The guy is pretty damned ripped and looks the Arrow part but can he pull off the Ollie part. I will be watching.
That's all I'm saying. They'll do it out of ignorance, not spite.
They aren't entrenched with this stuff, they don't know any better.
A guy in my office whose seen all the MCU movies, X-Men and Spidey films in discussion said the following(I paraphrase): "Avengers was just awesome, I wish DC would put Superman, Batman and Spider-man in a film together like Marvel did"
A guy with a bow and arrow, is it Hawkeye? Wait there's a difference? My coworker who is fairly into the film side of the characters just goofed....as will TV reviewers.
^ Well, I think I like the look of it, so far - though he really should be blond. What's this Starling City, though, and why are they calling Dinah "Laurel"? It's Superman who gets the LL girlfriends, not Ollie.
^ Superman is always pestering Lindsay Lohan and Lucy Lawless, I hear.
Separate names with a comma.
